The food and overall atmosphere was amazing!- The owner was super friendly, and was very respectful. This a super cool spot and I totally recommend going here. We got the single bacon cheeseburgers and we were amazed at the flavor. We also got the fries, which were perfectly seasoned. This gem is definitely in my family's top 5 spots

This reminds me of one of those old timey restaurants. The food i had was excellent. The sweet tea was really good. Our world needs more hometown places like this to eat.
I moved to NC in 2023. My job at the time I had the pleasure of taking care of the owner's mother. She was the sweetest woman I had met. She told me of this restaurant, and I have been going ever since. Everyone is friendly. The owner treats everyone like family. The food tastes amazing every time I had the chance to come by b/c I work overnights. I honestly can't say anything bad about the place.
Small hometown joint with A quality and flavor to match. It's not hard to make a good blt but, when it's really good. It's hard to beat, and they do it great here! Double bacon cheese burger was also far greater than the price point. The man in charge makes sure everything is on schedule and up to snuff coming out and asking patrons personally.
Things that make a great hot dog spot. 1. Pepsi/Coke Menu Board 2. Old Beat-up Sign 3. Bright Leaf Hot Dogs Zack's has all 3 of those. Solid dogs. I do like my slaw a bit creamier, but it was still nice.
My family loves this place! The burgers and hot dogs are amazing! Plus the fries! If you're lucky Richard will sing with that amazing voice! My grandkids love it!
I gotta say, the only reason we even ate there is because our car had broke down and it got towed to Black's Auto and Tire, also on Market Street so it was nearby. We are SO glad we did because the food was great! My double cheeseburger with bacon was the best burger I'd had in a long time! But, it wasn't just the food that made this place so awesome. The staff! The staff were amazing and so friendly. The owner took it upon himself to help us when he didn't have to, refilling our drinks n what not. As a family of 6 with 4 kids and two of them under 2, and feral...he was so kind and patient. My wife informed me that when I stepped out to take an important phone call, the kids began climbing back n forth over the back of the booth seats and just kind of being restless...atleast they were having fun since our vacation to Myrtle Beach had been ruined. Zach, I assume is the owner and the one helping us, never even got upset. He just smiled and even gave the kids candy. But it was a few hours later that really impressed us, so much so that from now on, when we go to Myrtle Beach, we will be stopping by to eat there. As we were unpacking the car to load our stuff into our ride home, he stopped by to check on us. Seeing our situation, he stayed in the parking lot for about 20 minutes to help keep an eye on the kids. He even offered to take our bags of trash to his dumpster. We definitely didn't expect what he did next. Zach came back with a bag full of cold drinks! Thank God for this man. If you want a good burger and a friendly experience, go there, you won't be disappointed.
